I'm a high school student (not for long though, going to graduate in 6 months). I've always wanted to be bigger and to gain muscle, but didn't think the ideal body image that I wanted was realistically attainable by me, a girl. Then I saw a picture of Tara Taylor. There was a comparison photo of her when she first started and where she is now, and for the first time I thought, "Wow, this is something that a female body is naturally capable of." However, there is still almost no representation of women who actually do want to get big and bulk up with muscle.
After that, I started doing a lot of research and began to ask more questions. Once I was able to save up enough money, I joined a gym. My first day there, I went right to the weight room. Focusing on how each exercise worked with each muscle helped take my mind off of... stuff. From that point on I was hooked. This was only two weeks ago.
There's a long road ahead of me to being comfortable enough to compete, and I am so glad that Amazon Strength is starting. Finally, there's a safe space for women where we can build a strong supportive community. For that, I will be forever grateful.

So glad you've found your way here! I'm really excited to read about your progress and your training log - I know you've already been in there doing big things.
FWIW, seeing Tara a year or so ago when I first got on IG was a game changer for me in terms of what I thought my body was realistically capable of. Until then, I was pretty much shooting in the dark with a strong hope and belief that I could achieve that square bulk. Now, I feel like I'm way closer myself and she's still incredibly inspiring. So much love for these strong role models!
