Hello, I'm a 21 year old lesbian from Portland, OR. Sports-wise, I'm interested in football, MMA, dance, soccer, surfing, and snowboarding. I feel pretty lucky that there's not just one but two women's football teams in my city (And yes, they're full contact) and I want to join the Shockwave team at some point. I'll have to get out to the coast sometime in order to do surfing classes but other than that, I'm gonna take classes at my school.
My biggest obstacle is trying to get enough protein and calories while cutting down on carbs and fat. I don't have the slightest idea how to make a consistent meal plan out of that though. I just bought six pounds of vital wheat gluten in hopes I'll do something with it lol. So I'll mainly be hanging out in the nutrition part of the forum.
My fitness goals are to:
1. First and foremost, be healthy and all around fit which means incorporating some sort of cardio, flexibility, stability, etc exercises into a routine 2. Gain enough muscle to bulk up and look as mesomorphic as possible for my body type as well as be able to lift some arbitrary high amount of weight. 3. Lose enough fat so that my face thins out to an amount I find acceptable.

blake! So glad you're here now! I bet you'd be awesome at football. I use gluten all the time to make seitan at home, and sometimes other bread/cookie things. If you want some help getting started with homemade wheat-meat, just let me know

I used to play football all the time when I was younger until it was no longer considered acceptable And any easy beginners recipe for seitan would be great
