I am really psyched this community exists because, as has been said, many lifting sites and communities for women are focused on not bulking up and constantly maintaining a calorie deficit. My own weight has been up and down thanks to an eating disorder and years of trying to achieve peace with my body. I was a power tumbler as a teenager and quickly moved into weightlifting at my gym after high school. I kept this up for a long time, but because of an old injury from tumbling, I had to have back surgery and lost much of my progress. I am a few months out in my recovery from surgery and am just now starting to get back in the gym! Anyway, I am thrilled to use this website as a resource and I'm excited to meet all of you.

Excited to have you here as well! I had an eating disorder for years as well, and strength training has been one of my most effective recovery tools. Hope to see your training log soon! People here have been very encouraging and have given a lot of tips.
